On December 6, Kelsey Zwick boarded Flight 588 from Orlando to Philly with Lucy, one of her 11-month-old twin daughters. Lucy was born 11 weeks prematurely (早产) and 1 from severe lung disease as a result of a complication (并发症) of 2. The brave baby girl was on oxygen 3until recently. Today, Lucy needs oxygen at night and while flying, one small good deed reminded Zwick how "4" she and her husband, Yuri, truly are.
"To the 5 in 2D, I don't know you, but I imagine you saw us somewhere. I pushed a stroller(婴儿车), had a diaper (尿布) bag on my arm and also 6 an oxygen machine for my daughter," Zwick wrote on her Facebook post. " We 7 the plane, sat down in our window seat and made 8 with those around us about having to sit by my yelling-but-happy baby. The flight attendant came over and told me a gentleman was waiting to 9 seats," she wrote. "You were giving up your comfortable first-class seat to us. Not able to 10 tears, I cried my way up the passage while my daughter Lucy 11! She felt it in her bones too. . . real, pure, goodness. I smiled and thanked you 12we switched but didn't get to 13 you properly," the mom continued.
"So… thank you. Not just for the seat itself but for 14. For seeing us and realizing that maybe things are not always 15. For the decision you made to show a random act of 16 to us. I can't wait to tell Lucy 17. In the meantime… we will pay it 18. "
Zwick's story touched the hearts of many, giving rise to 19comments on the post that has since been 20over 164,000 times.
At just 18 years old, Canberra student Lochie Ferrier has already conducted research in a frontier field -aerospace(宇航工业) engineering. Aerospace engineering is the primary 1 of engineering concerned with the science and technology of aircraft and spacecraft.
In 2014, he was one of 80 high school students worldwide who 2 a six-week science and engineering program at MIT. During the program, he was 3 by the institute's scientists, and developed a method to identify inactive satellites. This method, called OASIS, is designed 4 a way to help manage space debris (碎片), which 5 operating satellites. "One solution to this problem is a 6 robot that can gather pieces of space debris and store them in orbit," he says. "These pieces could be 7 to new satellites later thus 8 the costs and launch weights of new satellites." However, 9 satellite identification technology would be needed for this solution, and that's what Lochie is working on. "I hope this method would be put into 10in the near future, saying the next 10 years," he says.
Lochie has made the 11 of the Young Innovators category(类别) of the Australian Innovation(创新) Challenge Awards with his OASIS. This category is open to students aged 21 years or 12 and carries a $ 5,000 prize. If he won, he would use the money to help fund 13 research into OASIS. "My plan for using the money would be to try to use materials which could stand up to the 14 environment of space," he says.
He is also considering how to 15the technology to organizations such as NASA and satellite manufacturers.
Lochie's16 in aerospace engineering was aroused by the big dish antenna(碟形天线) at NASA's tracking station near Canberra, which he visited in his early teens. He said his software design and development teacher at Canberra Grammar School 17 him, too. "He taught me valuable project management and skills which I applied to OASIS."
Lochie has been 18 Canberra Grammar School and will soon sit exams for admission to universities. He 19 his time among schoolwork, his personal 20 projects such as OASIS and the development of apps, rock climbing, and playing classical violin. Years ago, all my parents were involved in a serious car accident. Uncle Bob takes on the role as a father to me. I lived with them during that period. He allowed me to stay with him though his home was not really bigger. He showed his care and love for me with paying attention to my health, education and which I needed at that time. I really appreciated a time he spent with me. We were used to go on trips together. We would just spend days with either playing our guitars or read our favorite car magazines. I always felt gratefully towards him. He was like a father figure who would always give me encouragement.

Decades ago, I was a child. Hoped I could have an opportunity to attend college, my parents were pushed me to study hard. I experienced pressure at the first time. I did that my parents expected me to do because I didn't want to let them off. I was born in a rich family, and I really knew life was not easy. All the things my parents did were for their hope that I would lead better life in the future.
Finally thanks to their push and the pressures, I had a chance to go to college and am able to meet my parents' expectations. I made them.
Drinking two cups of hot chocolate a day may help old people keep brains healthy, a U.S. study said Wednesday.
The study, published online in the American Academy of Neurology journal Neurology, involved 60 people with an average age of 73 who did not have dementia(痴呆)。
The participants drank two cups of hot cocoa per day for 30 days and did not consume any other chocolate during the study. They were also given tests of memory and thinking skills as well as ultrasounds(超音波) tests to measure the amount of blood flow to the brain.
“We’re learning more about blood flow in the brain and its effect on thinking skills,” study author Farzaneh Sorond said in a statement. “As different areas of the brain need more energy to complete their tasks, they also need greater blood flow. This relationship may play an important role in diseases such as Alzheimer’s.”
The researchers found that 18 of the 60 participants who had impaired blood flow at the start of the study saw an 8.3-percent improvement by the end of the study. There was no improvement for those who started out with regular blood flow.
The people with impaired blood flow also improved their time on a test of working memory, with scores dropping from 167 seconds at the beginning of the study to 116 seconds in the end, the researchers said. There was no change in time for people with regular blood flow.
A total of 24 of the participants also had magnetic resonance imaging(磁共振成像) scans of the brain to look for tiny areas of brain damage. The scans found that people with impaired blood flow were also more likely to have these areas of brain damage.
“More work is needed to prove a link between cocoa, blood flow problems and cognitive (认知) decline,” said Paul Rosenberg, who wrote an editorial accompanying the study. “But this is an important first step that could guide future studies.”

When US musician Bob Dylan was announced as the winner of this year ‘s Nobel Prize for literature last month , many people took to social media to suggest that Leonard Cohen was the only other living songwriter who deserved the honor.

A. Slow Down Your Life
B. Escape Now and Then
C. Separate Your Actions
D. Allow Yourself to Be Weak
E. Relieve Pressure by Firmly Saying "No"
F. Stop Expecting Everything to Be Perfect
How to Simplify Your Life
Less is more. This is why we say: reduce things by half instead of doubling them, get rid of junk instead of piling it up, relax instead of stressing, slow down instead of speeding up. Apply these principles in your everyday life in a conscious way. You will then find yourself well along on your journey to simplification.

When you concentrate on one task, you find you have energy that you didn't even know you had. Just imagine: you are at a fair and you have to carry two heavy pigs over 100 yards. If you keep grabbing one and then the other, it will take forever, because one of them will keep slipping out from under your arm and running off. But if you tie one pig in a place, pick up the other, gather all your strength and make a dash for the finish line, pause for a moment, run back and get the other one, and with great determination, carry the second pig to the finish line, then you can be sure of success.

The pressure at work is on the increase in all occupations. In the modern nuclear family, the expectations that formerly would have been shared among all the relatives are now concentrated on the individual partner.
If you have the feeling that 24 hours per day are not enough for all the things you need to do, then it's not
because the day has too few hours, but because you have too many activities. A simple fact that overloaded people often tend to forget. The solution is equally simple: refuse to accept so many work assignments in your private life or your working life.
63.____________
"I can handle stress" is regarded as a positive statement in the world of work. People who can handle stress are given more and more to cope with -- until one day they break.
Pay careful attention to the signs that tell you that you are under more stress than you can cope with. These
signals can come from various areas of life. You become ill, or your work efficiency decreases.
If you have any of these symptoms, change your life goals and decrease your tolerance of stress. Say quite
openly, "I can't manage that. "
64.__________
" If only I were slimmer, more beautiful, richer, more clever, then I would be happier. " This is a dream that makes a lot of people ill, depressed, and unhappy. Life has its flaws, defects, corners, and edges. Only those who accept this reality can lead a really fu]] life.
Of course there are activities in which errors are dangerous: driving a car; crossing the road. But life doesn't consist entirely of these things. In among them there is a lot of room for small and large mistakes.

Successful people all have their own places where they can withdraw in order to work. Find out which places improve your creativity. For me it's the train. When I know that I'm going to be traveling for four hours without phone calls and people knocking on my door, I find my mind is free and I can read or write complex articles. There can be problems working on the train, of course : if the person sitting opposite you keeps talking away, or if train traps make you tired ( some people fall asleep after a few miles).
