Many people have forgetfulness (健忘). And, yes, I was one of those forgetful people before. So I've had to develop some kinds of ways to improve it.
How do you know you are forgetful?
You know it: when people ask whether you've found the answers they wanted, but you can't recall them; if you often have trouble remembering where your keys are, or where you have parked your car in the parking lot; if you miss appointments (约定); or if you can never remember a person's name even a few seconds after being introduced.
The following are some of my tips for fighting with forgetfulness.
Can't find the keys. Right now get a small bowl (碗) and set it on a table in your kitchen. When you come back home, always put your keys in this bowl. The "key" to remembering where your keys are is to always put them back in the same place at once ever}r time you come back home.
Can't find your car in the parking lot. I kept running into this problem until one day I solved it quite simply. Now I always park in the first or second row(排) to the left of the entrance (入口). That way, when I come out, I naturally start walking toward where my car is parked because it has become a habit.
—Just a little. But now I am no longer as nervous as before.

Children whose diet includes fish at least once a week are found to have better sleep and higher IQ scores, on average than children who seldom or never eat fish.
Researchers from the University of Pennsylvania did the study on 541 children aged between 9 and 11 years old.
The children, consisting of 54 percent boys and 46 percent girls, were surveyed about how often they ate fish in the past month, while their parents were asked about the children's sleeping quality during night and day time.
The boys and girls were also given IQ tests to examine their verbal(口语的) and non-verbal skill such as vocabulary.
The researchers found that children who ate fish weekly was 4.8 points higher on IQ exams than those who "seldom "or "never" ate fish.
Joe Smith is a singer. He and his wife like traveling a lot. Every year they visit a small town called Gum Tree in January and July and they sing for people there.
One summer, they went there by train again. On the first day, they planned to go hiking in the mountains, but it rained a lot. So they decided to go to the only cinema in town and watch a movie there.
There were only nine people in the cinema hall. When people saw the Smiths, they started to clap(鼓掌). Joe was excited and said to his wife, "Aha, I cannot believe people here all know me and they are friendlier than I "thought. They must like my songs."
Then a young man said to them, "Thanks for your coming! The cinema shows the movie only after ten people buy the tickets. There're eleven now, so the movie will be on soon."
—Three times a day before meals, and you'll feel better soon.
