Everyone expects to live a relaxing life after retirement（退休）, isn't it? However, this is not the case for Mr. Bai Fangli. In 1987, at the age of 74, he decided to continue working as a pedicab（三轮车）driver. But he didn't work to make money for himself, but for the poor children who are not able to afford education. Once he started, he never stopped.

Life as a pedicab driver was not easy, but Bai kept working hard. Every day he went out in the early morning and wouldn't return until darkness. He made 20 to 30 yuan each day. After returning home, he put his money in a lunch box carefully. In almost twenty years Bai hardly bought any clothes or a pair of shoes for himself. He gave away all the money he made from his job. By the time he was 88, he had given away more than 350,000 yuan and helped more than 300 poor students return to school.

One winter in 2001, he drove his pedicab to Tianjin YaoHua Middle School and handed 500 yuan to a teacher. He said, "I cannot work anymore, and this is the last money I can give to help others." 4 years later, he got lung cancer and died when he was 92.

It's not easy to find a person with the qualities it takes to be a hero.

If you saw her, you wouldn't think she really looks the part, but she is stronger than Superman could ever be. Her name is Sandra Keierleber. I first met her at volleyball tryouts (选拔赛) . As the week passed, however, she showed she had more heart than anyone. She stood out because she never gave up, no matter what happened.

Sandra isn't the tallest or the fastest— in fact, this was her first time playing volleyball and it showed— but that didn't stop her . By the end of tryouts she had found a place in everyone's heart. Alice Moore is a teenager entrepreneur（创业者）, who in May 2015 set up her business AilieCandy, By the time she was 13, her company was worth millions of dollars with the invention of a super sweet treat that could save kids' teeth, instead of destroying them.

It all began when Moore visited a bank with her dad. On the outing, she was offered a candy bar. However, her dad reminded her that sugary treats were bad for her teeth. But Moore was sick of missing out on candies. Moore then used her savings to get her business off the ground. Afterwards, she and her father secured their first business meeting with a supermarket owner, who finally agreed to sell Moore's product-CanCandy.

As CanCandy's success grows, so does Moore's credibility as a young entrepreneur. Moore is enthusiastic about the candy she created, and she's also positive about what the future might bring. She hopes that every kid can have a clean mouth and a broad smile.

Meanwhile, with her parents' help, Moore is generally able to live a normal teenager life. Although she founded her company early on in life, she wasn't driven primarily by profit. Moore wants to use her unique talent to help others find their smiles. She donates 10% of AilieCandy's profits to Big Smiles. Shel Silverstein was born in Chicago in 1932.He was a poet, writer and artist.

Shel Silverstein is best known for his books for children. However, people of all ages like his poems and stories. His first children's book came out in 1963.It is called Lafcadio, The Lion Who Shot Back. It is about a lion that eats hunters and lives like a human.

Yuhang in Hangzhou is known for making oil paper umbrellas for over 230 years. But in the 1970s, it was out of production as  steel-ribbed ( 钢骨的) umbrellas became (popular) than before.

In 2015, Liu Weixue (give) up a well-paid job as a designer to learn from his grandfather the traditional art of making Yuhang oil paper umbrellas.  "I fell in love the art at a very young age. I want to bring it to life." Liu said. "When it (rain), someone uses the umbrella – that's what I want to see."
