In order to keep fit and enrich our extracurricular activities, three of my good friends and I participated in the Picking Activity organized by the League Committee last weekend. We received much fun and benefit. It was a nice day, the sunlight warm and soft. At round 9 a.m., we gathered at the gate of our school and set off for our destination— the Green Farm, 2 kilometers away. We were well-equipped for the activity and all the way we were singing and laughing. Half an hour later, we all arrived at the Green Farm, where we are warmly welcome by the farmers. Watching the delicious and nice strawberries, we are in high spirits. After the farmers told us the rules and tips that we are supposed to follow, we can't wait to pick strawberries happily and cautiously. Enjoying the fun of laboring and the joy of success, we cheered with great joy. Around 12 o'clock, after finishing picking strawberries, we chatted with the farmers pleasantly, enjoying the smelly strawberries. This weekend Picking Activity is really impressive and beneficial. Not only did it get us closer to the nature and relieve pressure form us, it also promote us to experience the hardship of labour.
