Martin Rees from the UK set a new record for the most magic tricks performed underwater in three minutes. He performed 20 magic tricks! The record used to be seven. Rees' first idea for beating this record was to overcome his biggest fear -being underwater. His second idea was the work he does with a charity. It cheers up children who have to stay in hospitals.

Being tall not only makes someone stand out in a crowd, but can also help them set a world record. Ren Keyu，14, from Leshan city, Sichuan province, is 221 cm tall. In October, he earned the Guinness World Records title of "Tallest Youth (Male)".

According to Red Star News, he was already 130 cm when he started kindergarten and has been growing taller ever since. His height may have something to do with heredity(遗传), as his grandfather and mother are both over 1.9 meters tall. Ren has a customized desk, chair, and school uniform to match his height. Most desks are about 75 cm tall, while most chairs are 45 cm. Ren's desk and chair are 1 meter and 70 cm, respectively.

What can you do in one minute? Maybe solve a math problem or finish a snack. But Suliman Abdeljwaad from Saudi Arabia can do 40 side jump push-ups in one minute. This earned him the Guinness World Records title in September.
