I often dream of a teacher, I dream of standing on the platform in the classroom and give lessons to lovely boys and girls. I teach them, play with them, but watch them growing up. I am always young when I was staying with them. I know there is not easy to be a teacher. You have to learn in order to teach. Without enough knowledges, you can never learn well .What is more, you have to be friends with your pupils and take good care of him. Only in this way can you be good teacher and win respect from them. Though I am a student now, I will work as very hard to make my dream come true.

Despite being used by 1.34 billion people each year, traveling on the Tube in London can actually be quite lonely. An unwritten rule encouraging silence, mixed with classic British reserve, means that even though you’re packed into enclosed space wit hundreds of other people, the morning trip can leave you feeling somewhat lonely.

One London resident, however, is trying to change this. “You get on the Tube here and it’s completely silent and it’s strange,” says Jonathan Dunne, an American living in London, who has started a campaign of giving out badges (徽章) with the slogan “Tube Chat?” last month, encouraging travelers in London to get talking to one another.

Although Dunne says he’s received mostly positive responses, there are always exceptions.

Londoner Brian Wilson responded with a campaign of his own, handing out 500 badges with the words “Don’t even think about it” on them. “ I can’t stand the idea of having to talk to strangers on the Tube on my way to work,” he said.

Michael Robinson, a student from London, agrees. “Being on the Tube is the only peace and quiet some people get on their journeys to and from work. It doesn’t need to be spoiled by people coming up and chatting to you,” he says.

“People assume that I just walk up and talk to strangers, which I don’t, but it’s been a great way to meet people you would never have normally spoken to,” Dunne says.So if you ever end up using public transport in London, why not say hello to the person next to you? Just make sure to check for a badge first.

Parents should stop complaining themselves because there's not a lot they can do about it. I mean the teenager problem. Whatever you do or however you choose to deal with it, at certain times a wonderful, reasonable and helpful child will turn into a terrible animal.

I've seen friends deal with it in all kinds of different ways. One strict mother insisted (坚持) that her son, right from a child, should stand up whenever anyone entered the room, open doors and shake hands like a gentleman. I saw him last week when I called round. Sprawling (四肢摊开) himself on the sofa in full length, he made no attempt to turn off the loud TV he was watching as I walked in, and his greeting was only a quick look at me. His mother was ashamed. "I don't know what to do with him these days," she said. "He's forgotten all the manners we taught him."

He hasn't forgotten them. He's just decided that he's not going to use them. She admitted (承 认) that she would like to come up behind him and throw him down from the sofa onto the floor.

Another good friend of mine let her two daughters climb all over the furniture, reach across the table, stare at me and say, "I don't like your dress, it's ugly." One of the daughters has recently been driven out of school. The other has left home.

"Where did we go wrong?" her parents are now very sad. Probably nowhere much. At least, no more than the rest of that unfortunate race, parents.

High in thick bamboo forests in the misty,   71  (rain) mountains of southwestern China   72  (live) one of the world’s rarest mammals: the giant panda, also called the panda, Only about 1,000 of these black-and-white   73  (relative) of bears survive in the wild.

Pandas eat almost nothing   74   bamboo shoots and leaves.   75  (occasion) they eat other plants, fish, or small animals, but bamboo accounts for 99% of their diets.

Pandas eat fast; they eat   76   lot, and they spend about 12 hours a day   77  (do) it. The reason is   78   they digest only about a fifth of what they eat. Overall, bamboo is not very nutritious. To stay healthy, they have to eat a lot-up to 15 percent of their body weight in 12 hours-so they eat fast.

Pandas’ molars(臼齿) are very broad and flat. The shape of these teeth helps the animals crush the bamboo shoots, leaves, and stems they eat to get the bamboo to their mouths,   79   hold the stems with their front claws, which have enlarged wrist bones that act as thumbs for grasping things. A panda should have at least two bamboo species where it lives, or it will starve. Pandas are shy; they don’t go into areas   80   people live. This restricts pandas to very limited areas.

You might have heard about identity theft: it’s what can happen when a thief gets enough of someone’s information to commit fraud(诈骗). Why should people care about it? Because recovering a stolen identity can be a timeconsuming and expensive process. Imagine that someone pretends to be you: they use your name; they even convince businesses that they’re you and they open a credit card in your name, get a cell phone in your name, or buy things using a credit card that has your name on it.

ID thieves can be creative about getting your information. There are some low—tech ways they get it: sometimes they steal garbage, going through it to find personal information» or they steal mail.

There are high—tech ways, too: ID thieves might put software onto your computer without you knowing it—it can happen when you open an email attachment, click on a popup (弹出窗口) advertisement, or download some music files. Some software lets a thief see everything on your computer, and record everything you type on your computer.

Unfortunately, even if you’re really careful with your personal information, thieves can still get it. Sometimes, they hack (入侵) into computer systems at stores or schools, hospitals or businesses. They look for personal information to use or sell to other thieves.

It’s pretty easy for you and your family to make it harder for a thief to steal your identity. You can start with the lowtech defenses: being careful with your mail and garbage. Tear anything that has personal information on it before you throw it away. And be sure to take care with your purse, your wallet, or your backpack.

Practice some routine higher-tech defensive plays, too: protect your computer by installing (安装) and turning on an up-to-date firewall along with anti-spyware and anti-virus software. Once you are online, be careful with your personal information. Some sites might ask for a credit card number, stop and check if they really need that number. When you get email or pop—ups on your computer, don’t respond automatically. Emails that ask you to reply or click a link could be thieves trying to trick you into giving them your personal information. It’s a technique called “phishing”, because the thieves are fishing for your information. Stop and think before you click.

One of the first signs visitors encounter(遇见)at most museums isPlease do not touch the exhibits. However at the new Hoy tocael Prado exhibition at Madrid’s Museo Nacional Del Prado, the officials don’t just encourage the habit, they insist upon it. That’s because this art display has been specially created to enable visually(视觉的) impaired(受损) patrons(顾客)to experience the joy of the works of some of the world’s most famous artists just like able-bodied people can.

The 3-D masterpieces(杰作)is the idea of Estudios Durero. The creators began by taking high resolution(高清的)images of the original works. They then used a special ink to add different 3-D materials to the paintings. This allows blind visitors to feel features like hair, skin, cloaks, etc. so that they can create a visual image of what the art looks like in their minds. Since the blind can see some colors, equal importance was given to the colors in the paintings.

The Museo Nacional Del Prado is the world’s first major museum to create one with versions of their most famous work of arts. As to why it has taken so long for it to come up with this bright idea, Fernando Pérez, the museum’s keeper says it is not because of lack of interest, but a lack of resources. Pérez explains, “There are now new technologies to provide answers that were earlier not possible, such as the paints in 3-D, and apps.” Now that they have it all figured out, people plan to continue offering similar exhibitions in the future.

As one blind visitor said, “For us the sense of sight is the sense of touch. My view is to touch, and usually I can’t see the paintings others see in a museum—someone would have to explain them to me. But in this exhibit, I have the chance to see it with my hands.”

27. Why can the paintings in Hoy tocael Prado be touched?

A. They are created by the famous artists.

B. They are specially designed for the blind.

C. They are all made of unique materials.

D. They are displayed in a special way.

28. The second paragraph is mainly about______.

A. how the 3-D masterpieces were created

B. why the museum displayed its masterpieces

C. what special effects the 3-D masterpieces have

D. who are the creators of these 3-D masterpieces

29. Why did it take the museum so long to come up with this concept?

A. The museum has no interest in it.

B. The painters don’t allow using their works.

C. There is a lack of stuff in the museum.

D. Technology set a limit to the museum.

30. The last paragraph implies that______.

A. the blind depend on touch to live

B. the blind are usually ignored by the museum

C. the exhibition has been a huge success

D. paintings should be explained in the museum

The earliest newspapers started in ancient Rome. They were handwritten news sheets. The first printed newspapers appeared in China during the Tang dynasty, which were printed from carved wooden blocks. Modern papers first appeared in Venice, Italy in the middle of the 14th century. The newspapers of today, with advertising and a mixture of political, economic, and social news and comments, were started in Britain in the mid-18th century.

The main function of newspapers is to report news. Many newspapers also provide special information to readers, such as weather reports and television timetables. They also provide comments on politics, economics, arts and culture. Almost all newspapers depend on advertising to make money.

Nearly six out of ten adults in the United States and Canada read a newspaper every day. Seven out of ten read a paper each weekend. Readers search newspapers for detailed background information and analysis. This is what television and radio news reports seldom offer. Newspapers tell readers what happened, and they also help readers understand what caused an event and how it will affect the world around them.

The workers at large newspaper companies work under a lot of pressure to bring news to readers as soon as possible. Reporters, photographers, artists, and editors collect articles in just a few hours. Page designers select articles, photos, advertisements, and eye-catching headlines to make the pages, and then rush their work to the printer. Printing workers may work overnight around printing presses to churn out more than 60,000 copies per hour.

Instagram made a survey of people aged between 18 to 34 years old that live in France, Germany and in the United Kingdom, asking them how they share and connect digitally (数字地) and visually. According to results from the survey, the new trends and behaviours found may offer a window into the future, and how our world may be seen by the Millennials generation.
