①Have you ever shown your photos on your favorite social media (媒体)? Or have you expressed your feelings and emotions on your online page? If yes, do you know what you have posted on the social medias can cause problems you could not expect?

②Cathy, who is going to be fifteen, posted online an invitation to her birthday party with her address in it. And guess what! 500 people came to the party, and some even broke the windows and plants, making a total mess of the house. The girl's birthday party turned into a nightmare (噩梦).

③Many teenagers (青少年)think they know everything about social media, and that such a thing could never happen to them. Studies show that each year more than three million young people in the world get into trouble because of their online activities.

④So do remember these if you really want to share something online.

Share with care! Not everyone will like what you write online. Think before you post anything. You never know who sees your texts, pictures or videos. Before clicking "post", you should ask yourself, "How will I feel if my family or teachers see this?" and "How might this post be bad for me in five or ten years from now?"

Be polite when you write! Imagine someone is unfriendly in real life. The same is true of online communication. No one likes it when you "shout" in your messages. If you feel angry or frustrated while you're writing a message, wait a bit. Read it again later and then send it.

Protect and respect! Never share your passwords with anyone. It's not wise to post your home or email address online. Don't say bad things about people. If you get messages like that or see them online, talk to your parents or your teachers.

In August, 2021, some new rules came out to restrict (限制) young people's online game time. People under the age of 18 can only play online games three hours a week. Online game providers can offer only one-hour service to young people from 8 p. m. to 9 p. m. on Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays. They are very popular with teachers and parents.

Zhang Zhe, a high school teacher in Nanjing, thinks online games influence students' studies a lot. At home, parents often find it hard to stop their children from playing them. What's worse, students might have no interest in developing friendship. "Students who become seriously addicted (上瘾的) to online games often find all kinds of excuses to play them. They also spend little on food or clothes to save their money for online games. So I think it is really necessary for the government to take action." said Wu Li, a teacher in Wuhan.

Mrs Wang, a mother of a high school student in Shanghai, used to have difficulty keeping her son away from online games, so she felt really glad when the new rules came out. "Whenever I tried to stop him, he got really angry. For several months, he even refused to talk to me." said Mrs Wang.

Thanks to the rules, students can have more time to take up new hobbies. To make sure that students develop healthier lifestyle (生活方式), schools, teachers and parents need to work closely to help young students find proper hobbies, and hold different after-school activities for them.

A . They spend more on food and clothes. B . They have interest in making friends. C . Their studies are influenced a lot. D . They have a good relationship with their family.

①They should work together to help young students.

Noisy neighbors are a problem in a society where many people live closely together. And this can be the most important when you share walls, floors or ceilings with neighbors in a flat—noisy neighbor can make life challenging, especially if noise goes well into night, or happens during early morning hours. This situation needs to be dealt with properly, which needs your ability to keep calm.

First, you should try to tell your neighbors about the noise. This conversation should be polite and friendly. It can begin with words like "I am not sure you know that." Explain the problem in an honest way, and ask the neighbors to turn down the music, or not to hold parties until 3 a.m. You can also say that you realize they hear your noise too, and you're willing to try to stop anything in your behavior that is creating much noise.

You should know that not all neighbors are going to follow your requirements, and some may act in a bad manner. If the noisy neighbors don't change their behaviors, the next step should be to write the neighbors a letter. The letter should show your grievances (不满) and the dates when the noise was quite terrible. For example, if your neighbor has loud gatherings every Friday night that last into the early morning, then write down those dates.

When the noise remains going on, you should report it to local authorities (权力部门), or even call the police, when it is really necessary. Often, however, you can solve the problem when the noisy neighbor knows you are going to call the police.

Be aware that you can't always make noisy neighbors be quiet. When the noise remains going on, it is wise not to deal with it in an angry way. If you have completed the steps and letter don't start hitting walls or floors around in your home or turning up the music to make your neighbors angry. Just have patience and remember that communication is the most important.

In June 2019, Curtis Whitson, Krystal Ramirez and their son Hunter decided to go backpacking along California's Arroyo Seco River. Things went well for the first two days. On June 16, Whitson led the trip to a waterfall.

They had planned to use a rope(绳索)to come down the side of the waterfall. However, when they arrived there, Whitson found the water flowed (流动)too fast. To make matters worse, their rope was missing.

Since going back was dangerous as well, they tried to find other ways to get around the waterfall. But there was no other way out.

The three tried shouting each time they heard voices and even threw a stick. When neither worked, Whitson decided to carve (刻) a "HELP" message on the side of his water bottle. Before throwing it in the waterfall, he also put a dated note in it. He hoped that someone would find it. Then the three found an open place to camp for the night. Before sleeping, they put a blue floor cloth on the ground and spelled "SOS" out using white rocks. They also used a headlight to lighten the sign. After midnight, they heard a noise and woke up. A helicopter was flying overhead. Help arrived.

Two hikers had discovered the bottle and reported it to the police. Whitson said, "They didn't leave their names or phone numbers. They just did what was right in their heart, and took it seriously. I can't thank them enough. "
