London is such a wonderful city. It is very large. So the city has two parts: the south and the north. In the north, there are important buildings, shops, big parks and interesting places. In winter it is not very cold and in summer it is not very hot because the city is near the sea. People say that London is a foggy (多雾的) city and it often rains. It is true. Last year, when I was in London, I met one of the thickest fogs in years. Cars and buses moved along with their lights on. When the evening fell, the weather got even worse. All the buses and cars stopped. I happened to have an important meeting on the other side of the town, but it was impossible to find a car. I had to get there on foot.

    When I was a student in the middle school, I was a shy girl. （尤其）when the teacher asked me to speak in front of the class, I was so afraid of making a mistake. That's why I lost lots of （机会）to show myself and I was not very happy. What a （遗憾）! But in fact, I was not a （粗心的）girl and I always try to do everything right. Now, I'm a student in the （大学）, so I'm （改善）myself. I meet a good teacher Ms. Huang. I ask her for some （建议）. She always asks us to tell stories or show our ideas in class. The tortoise, who had already helped his friend, the bird, to leave the place to a forest far away after being set free, was greatly 10 with this man.

    "Well," said the tortoise, "if you still want to 11 another pearl, give the first one to me and I will fish another one for you." 12 his greed(贪婪), the bird-catcher gave the pearl to the tortoise, who 13 away with it saying, "I am no fool to take one and give two!" The tortoise then dived into the water 14, leaving the bird-catcher without a single pearl.

    We should learn from the short story that greed leads you to have 15.
