I often spend my summer holidays just with my parents. It is quite boring. But last summer holiday was1. Some of my friends came to stay with my parents and me for a week at our summer house. It is in as mall beach town called Port sea. They got there by train. It2them three hours.

One morning my friends and I 3to take my parents' boat for a ride. We rowed(划船)4 half an hour and found a big cave(山洞). Susan said it could be dangerous to go into it. But Peter said it was okay.5we started rowing again and got in. Then the tide(潮) started. At first we thought we could fight it but we were 6. We shouted for7 but there was no one around. Susan and I began to cry. Louis told us not to worry because the tide would be out. Because Louis always seemed to know the answer to8, we stopped crying.

Luckily, Louis was right9. After some hours the tide went out. We rowed back home quickly. We didn't10my parents about this special trip. And we were so afraid that we would not have a boat ride again.

    Jack has married twice. His first wife died when she was 32. He met his second wife Maria while he' was cycling round France. They have been married for 50 years, and they have lived happily in a small village since they got married.

    Jack says that he has never been ill in his life. The secret of good health, according to my grandfather, is exercise. He goes swimming every morning. He has done this since he was a boy. He also has a glass of wine every night! Perhaps that is his secret!
