They became good friends the same hobbies.
David is a college student(大学生). Last year he went on vacation to Yunnan with his cousin, Cindy.
First, they went to Kunming by plane. David liked the weather there. It was not cold or hot. It was really fine. Cindy liked all kinds of flowers best there. After two weeks, they went to Dali by train. They visited the famous Dali old city and some other places of interest there. They also knew about many local customs(当地的风俗).
One week later, David and Cindy took the bus to Lijiang—a beautiful town. They visited Jade Dragon Snow Mountain(玉龙雪山). It was really wonderful. They also visited the old town of Lijiang. There were many interesting stores and restaurants there, They ate much fine food there, And Cindy bought many presents(礼物) for her sister Mary and her brother Bill. David had to come back to the college, so they only stayed in Lijiang for one week. David likes Liang so much. He hopes to visit it this summer vacation again.

Susan went on a trip to Hastings with her classmates last Friday. They were very excited 1 it was their first school trip.
The night before, Susan prepared (把……准备好) things for the trip. She put 2 in her bag because the weather was still cold. She also took some hamburgers, cakes, juice and candy.
Susan didn't sleep very well that night. She 3 very early the next morning She got dressed, brushed her teeth and had breakfast at 7:15. Then she took her bag.
Her father drove 4 to school. Susan 5 her classmates outside the school. They waited for the bus 6 10 minutes and when it arrived, everyone got on it very quickly.

When they arrived in Hastings, the sun was bright (明亮的), but it was a little cold, so they 9 swim in the sea. They visited the castle (城堡) and had lunch in the park. Susan bought T-shirt- for her brother. They 10 at 7 p.m. and got home at about 9 o'clock. Susan was really tired, but she liked this school trip.
