If you visit Australia, you might go to Sydney. But Sydney is not the only interesting place in the country. There is also the outback (内陆).
Australia is a very big country. But not many people live there. So there is lots of empty space. In Australia, people call this area the outback.
The outback is in the middle of Australia. There is a lot to see. The most famous spot is Uluru-Ayers Rock. It is a big beautiful rock. It is always sacred (神圣的) to the aboriginal (土著的) people who live in the area.
Another great place to visit in the outback is Kakadu National Park. Birds, kangaroos, wallabies (小袋鼠), lizards (蜥蜴) and snakes all live in Kakadu.

As I walked to my car at a shopping mall, I saw a man. He was sitting on the ground with a board that said, "Please help".
I often give $20 to people like him, but now I decided to1some time as well. I stopped and said, "Come on, brother.2your things and let's get you some groceries(杂货)."
As we walked back into the3, I knew his name. I learned that he had a place to live,4had no money to buy food. I also knew that he was active although he was poor. He shared his story5, but I still wanted to help him. We started with some fruit and6. He chose some tomatoes first, then got some carrots and a couple of onions. I7him what he hadn't had for a long time. He said8. So we got him a nice steak(牛排).
As we were9, he told me he had two boys. A big pack of noodles went in the10. He also asked if he could get some books. Of course, that was fine too.
I was not sure what had happened to this man, but he was11. He just only put what he really needed12his basket. I know I will not do this all the time, as I don't have enough money to do so next. Treating people with love, kindness and warmth is13. Helping others is a good way to help the world, even just in a14way. We often feel that there's15we can do to make the world better, but that's just not true.
