We have the following ideas. First of all, a good English teacher must have a sound knowledge of the subject. Thus, we can learn much from him or her. Then, on one hand, the teacher can make the classes lively and interesting, in which we won't fall asleep. On the other hand, not only is the teacher strict with us, but also he cares about us. What's more, the teacher should pronounce beautifully and explain clearly what he or she is teaching.
