Films一a great way to learn English
Films are more than just entertainment. For Many people, watching foreign language films is a way to develop their language skills. Here are my tips to make sure you get the most enjoyment out of watching a film in English.
If you like action films, watch an action film, such as Indiana Jones. If you prefer comedies, watch a comedy- anything with Hugh Grant always provides a laugh! It's simple enough, and if you choose something you enjoy watching in your native language, you're more likely to enjoy it in English.
It's best to start off with something simple. This way, you can have a higher chance of understanding the content of the film. Disney films such as The Lion King are classic examples. Other animations such as Up and The Lego Film are also worth watching. The film Paddington is also an enjoyable and entertaining film.
Perhaps you have friends who have already seen an English film. If so, they may be able to recommend(推荐) you a film.
For beginners, subtitles(字幕) are very useful. Using subtitles in your own language is the easiest option, but for more advanced learners, why not think about using English subtitles? This way, you can match the written subtitles on the screen to the words spoken, helping you to develop your language further.
A. Choose something that you are familiar(熟悉的) with. B. Ask friends for advice. C. Go to the films with your friends as often as possible. D. If you need to, use the subtitles. E. Watch more films in English. F. Choose a film genre(类型) that you enjoy. |
Someone ( say), "Time is money."
But I think time is much important than money. Why? when money is spent, we can get it back later. However, time is gone, it'll never return. That is why we must not time.
It goes with saying that time is usually limited(有限的). Even a second is very important. We should make full use of our time to do something (use). But it is a pity that there are a lot of people who do not know the (important) of time. They spend their limited time (smoke), drinking and playing. They do not know that wasting time means wasting part of their own lives.
In a word. we should time. We shouldn't leave (today) work for tomorrow. Remember we must save time.

It is necessary to share your feelings with others. Sharing your feelings helps you to get closer to people you care about and who care about you.
Sometimes it can be really hard not to tell anyone that you're feeling sad, worried, or upset. Don't keep feelings locked inside. If that, it can even make you feel sick!
But if you talk with someone who cares for you, like your mom or dad, you will not be all alone with your problems or worries. It doesn't mean your problems and worries go off, but at least someone else knows what your trouble is and can help you find ways to do with it.
If the person doesn't understand what you mean right away, try explaining it in a different way or give an example that has something to do with you. Of course, there are many ways for you to speak up your feelings. If you think you'll have trouble saying what's on your mind, write it down on a piece of paper.
Some of us, just like some adults, are more private(有隐私的) than others. That means some people will feel shy about sharing their feelings. A kid doesn't have to share every feeling he or she has, but it is important to share feelings when a kid needs help.
