Being young or old, all children love to play different interesting games. In a school in Britain at playing time, you will see children playing all kinds of games. And after school if the weather is good and when homework is done, you are sure to find children playing outdoors, too.
Everywhere you look in a playground, children are having fun chasing (追逐) each other! Games of chase are very popular in Britain, just like everywhere else in the world. There are lots of types of chase games, and lots of different names for them. "Tig" "Tag" or "Debby" are all names for the same game. In those games, somebody is "it" or "on". He must chase his friends and try to catch them. If he can touch them on the shoulder (肩膀), he makes it.
One of the best things about chase games is you don't need any other equipment (设备), like a bat or ball to play. Ball games are always popular, and wherever you look in the UK you will find children playing football. Often, if there aren't any goalposts (球门柱) to use, children will use their coats as goalposts.
At weekends, when there is lots of time to play, many boys and girls enjoy skating. Most towns have skate parks. These places have ramps (坡道) and rails for doing tricks. It's fun to ride bikes, too. BMX bikes are great for doing tricks and jumps, and some towns have special places for people to practice tricks.
Whatever types of games you like to play, there are lots to choose from.

Firstly, take deep breaths and keep calm. Too much fear will add to your panic(恐慌) and make you too nervous to think clearly. Tell yourself to be patient and believe that nothing is impossible.
Secondly, use the emergency( 急救) call inside the elevator or your mobile phone to let people| outside know you are stuck in the. elevator. There is an emergency call on the wall of each elevator. You may use your mobile phone to give light and find it. The phone number can be found around it.
Thirdly, putting up messages on WeChat(微信) is also a good idea to allow more people to find you are in need of help. If help hasn't come, knock the door to get attention from other people in the building.
Fourthly, move less and try to relax. Even if the workers have known your situation, it may take them a long time to repair the elevator and bring you back to safety. Instead of keeping moving all the time, you are advised to keep still and relax yourself as much as possible, or you will make yourself tired out. Make sure that you are fine when the door is open.

One afternoon, four black youths walked into a restaurant that served “whites” only. They sat down and ordered bread and milk. The white waiter just said “We don't serve blacks”. The young men did not move. They were tired to death of segregation(种族分离) and of being kicked around. The manager was called. When he saw the angry look in their eyes, he said that he was sorry, but it was not possible to serve them.
The next day, more young black people came, and even more came the day after to the restaurant. Then a gang of white youths came in and attacked them. Most of the blacks were beaten up and were black and blue all over. After that the police rushed in, the several people were put in prison—all of them were black, although they had not done anything wrong—just because they were black.
The news spread quickly through the black living areas in the city. A large crowd held a meeting round the restaurant the following day, forcing(迫使) the restaurant to shut. Young men, black and white, made speeches protesting against segregation and pointing out that black people only wanted to live a life in the same way that whites did. They gave out leaflets and soon the movement spread to other cities. Business became so bad at that particular restaurant that the owners were forced to give and served blacks.
Nowadays, all the blacks are served in all restaurants open to the public in America.
