People will work fewer hours than they do now, and they will have more free time for sports, watching TV and travel. Traveling will be much cheaper and easier. And more people will go to other countries for holidays.

There will be changes in our food, too. More land will be used for building new towns and houses for all the people. Then there will be less room for cows and sheep, so meat will be more expensive. Maybe no one will eat it every day. Maybe they will eat more fruit and vegetables instead. Maybe people will have a healthier life. Work in the future will be different, too. Robots will do dangerous and hard work. Because of this, many people will not have enough work to do. This will be a problem.

    Paul Barton was an Englishman who liked playing the piano very much. He also1the elephants. He wanted to play the2for the elephants all the time. Now, he has achieved(实现) a long­held dream of playing the piano for elephants. He decided to try the new challenge(挑战) to help 3money for the blind(瞎的) elephants on the mountains of Kanchanaburi, northeast of Bangkok.

    In 1995, Paul and his wife went to Asia. From then on,4worked with the blind elephants. On his 50th birthday, Paul5his piano to a mountain in Thailand. He played the piano for the blind elephants. The elephants seemed to like the 6very much.

    "My wife and I have been working with blind elephants for many years, and I thought it might be something they would enjoy listening to. I am really7to do it," said Paul.

    It is said that there are around 60，000 Asia elephants in the world. Paul hopes to give a concert8the elephants one day.

    "The 9 people care for the elephants, the better they will live. Helping them is helping10," Paul said.
