The Twin's Birthday

    Today is the twins' birthday. They are twelve. Jim, Mike, Kate and Bill are the twins' friends. They want to buy some things for them. There is a big shop near their school.     The Spring Festival is a very important festival for Chinese people. Before the festival, every family cleans the house. They decorate（装饰）the doors and windows with paper-cuts. They also like to put lanterns （灯笼） in front of the house.

    On the eve（前夕）of the Spring Festival, all the family members come together to have a big dinner. After dinner they watch TV or play cards. At midnight people play lots of fireworks to celebrate（庆祝） the new year.

    On the first morning of the New Year, people all dress in new clothes and say, "Happy New Year" to each other. Children can get some money in red envelopes （红包）. So children like the Spring Festival very much.
