There are many festivals(节日)every year(每年), such as Mother's Day in May, Father's Day in June, Children's Day in June, too, Teachers' Day in September, National Day(国庆节)in October, Nurse Day in May, Christmas Day in December, New Year's Day in January, Chinese New Year's Day in January or February and so on. But my favourite festival is Chinese New Year's Day. Because I can wear (穿) beautiful new clothes, make and eat dumplings, eat a big dinner, visit my family and friends and get lots of lucky money (拿压岁钱) from them. It is going to be a lot of fun. And we don't go to school. We have a little homework to do. But we should study.
One day Sam buys a hot dog after school. Suddenly(突然)he stops and raises (抬)his head high. He keeps looking at the sky. It lasts (持续) two minutes. A woman passes by (路过). She sees Sam looking at the sky and she stops and also looks at the sky. The sky is blue with some white clouds. Many passers by stop. They looks at the sky, too. After a while Sam lowers(低下)his head. He laughs and asks, “What are you looking for in the sky?" The woman says, “Why are you looking at the sky?" “I don't look at the sky," Sam points to (指向) his nose. “My nose is bleeding(出血)”
