The London Zoo opened in 1828. It had the first children's zoo, the first reptile(爬虫)house, the first public aquarium(水族馆)and the first insect(昆虫)house.
Today, the magical zoo is home to more than 12,000 animals, including Asian lions and South bears. There is a lot to do, plenty to see and much to learn. The Reading Club m meet in the library after school. We read and talk about English storybooks. It is a lot of fun. I tell the o students about good books. Next, they tell me about t favorite books. We a learn about new books and choose w we want to read then. We can read books alone, or we can listen to recordings (录音) of storybooks , I like l to recordings of stories. I can hear m different voices and sounds. This h me speak and understand English better.
We also read books in pairs. Students in G Nine help me read difficult books. They tell me what the words mean and help me understand them. They are very helpful. I like to learn f the older students.
