Hi, I'm Zhang Qing and I'm Chinese. Spring Festival is very important in China. It usually comes in (一月)or February. Before Spring Festival, everyone is quite busy and (获得) ready for it. Thanksgiving Day began in 1621. When the English settlers(定居者) reached( 到达) the new world, they did not have enough food. But the American Indians helped the white men and taught them how to farm. After the English settlers came to America in autumn，they had a good harvest. They were so pleased. They decided to invite their Indian friends for dinner to thank them and God for their help.

There are some important festivals in Western countries. April Fool's Day is on April 1. People usually play tricks on others on that day. It's very popular in England and America.
Mother's Day is on the second Sunday in May. It's a day to thank mothers. On that day, mothers usually get flowers and cards from their children. Fathers and children do the housework, so mothers can have a good rest.

Christmas Day comes on December 25. It's the most popular festival in a year in Western countries. People exchange presents and visit friends.
