AlphaGo

Go originated in China over 3, 000 years ago. Winning this board game requires multiple layers of strategic thinking. Two players, using either white or black stones, take turns  (place) their stones on a board. The goal is to surround and capture their opponent's stones or strategically create spaces of territory.  all possible moves have been played, both the stones on the board and the empty points are counted. The highest number wins. 

As simple as the rules  seem, Go is profoundly complex. There are an astonishing 10 to the power of 170 possible board configurations--more than the number of atoms in the known universe. This makes the game of Go a googol times  (complex) than chess. 

AlphaGo, a computer program  combines advanced search tree with deep neural networks, thus came into being. These neural networks take a description of the Go board as an input and process it through a number of different network layers  (contain) millions of neuron-like connections.

Opportunity to See Treasured Literature

Manuscripts and personal papers of writers represent all stages of literary production. They may range from  notes and first drafts to corrected proofs and correspondence between authors and publishers. Now, for the very first time, you are able to see the  manuscripts of ten great British writers in person. 

Named Shakespeare to Sherlock: Treasures of the British Library, the  will stay in China for three years. The manuscripts are  on display at the National Library of China in Beijing until mid-June. The exhibition will then  Shanghai and Hong Kong. It  the original works of Charles Dickens, Charlotte Bronte, and Lord Byron, among others. 

One of the highlights of the exhibition is that visitors will be able to see the 1598  of Romeo and Juliet, once owned by King George III, side by side with a Ming Dynasty print copy of The Peony Pavilion by Shakespeare's Chinese Tang Xianzu. It would be like the two great ancient writers--who lived during the same time but at  sides of the world to one another—are finally making a connection, but in the 21st century. Perhaps this is what China's ambassador to the UK meant when he said that the exhibition was" a splendid cultural feast that goes beyond time and space and  different countries and peoples. "
