Opinions are divided among the students. Some students say yes. They express their reasons as follows. To begin with, they can express their feelings and thoughts freely. Besides, chatting on line is also helpful for our language study. However, others hold the opposite view. They argue that making friends online is a waste of time, which should be spent on study. In addition, some students may get cheated online. In my opinion, every coin has two sides. On one hand, we students should place our study, health and safety before other things and we'd better develop friendship with our classmates.
