Tea is the most popular drink in the world besides plain water. There are thousands of 1 types of tea available. All tea comes from the Camellia Sinensis bush—also 2 as the Tea Plant. The leaves and buds of this plant are picked several times a year, usually by hand. After picking, the tea is processed into black tea, oolong tea, green tea or 3 tea.

Black tea was invented in China in the Ming Dynasty as a way to 4 tea fresh when it was being transported long distances. As tea has to travel a long distance to reach places such as Britain, Canada and Australia, it is not 5 that Westerners drink mostly black tea. However, the majority of the world drinks green tea.

Herbal tea is prepared in the same way as regular tea but is not really tea. This is 6 it contains herbs, fruits, spices, etc. but no leaves from the Tea Plant. To truly be tea, the leaves must come from this plant. All tea naturally  7 caffeine, which comes from the tea leaves. Antioxidants are the properties found in some foods that reduce your risk of 8cancer and heart disease. All regular tea has a lot of antioxidants.

Decafieinated tea is regular tea (usually green or black) that has been processed to remove the caffeine. In recent years, organic tea has become 9, too. This is tea that comes from plants that have been grown without the use of any chemicals. People believe that it tastes better and is healthier, but sometimes it costs more than non-organic tea.     Nowadays in school life, a lot of students develop a fear of tests. It's not because tests are something to be afraid of. Most students are afraid of tests mainly because they don't have enough self-confidence and they don't always think they are well prepared. If you follow the tips below, it's not difficult to overcome (克服) your fear of tests.

People who know that they are not well-prepared are usually those who fear tests most. However, most students don't know when they are truly prepared for a test. As long as(只要) you know that you have studied well and long enough, you have a reason to believe that you are well-prepared.

Be confident about yourself. Confidence before a test can bring about two things: either you fail the test and feel as if your confidence was unfounded(毫无根据的) or you could actually do well in the test because of your confidence. Some students find that they experience the first result. However, this is only because those students might not have followed the first tip mentioned above. As long as you have studied well, you will be more confident of your chance to succeed in a test. If you feel as if you have not studied hard enough, then you will not be as confident as you should be.

Ask your teacher about the main points that may be covered in the test while getting ready for the test. In this way, you will know what you should prepare for and you can get confidence in the test. But you have to be brave enough to ask. Most students do not ask if their teacher doesn't give the information first, so make sure that you ask.

You should know that tests just check your knowledge and don't lose heart because of one test failure. As long as you think that there is another tomorrow, you can overcome your fear of a test. However, make sure that you are going to prepare well for the other tests.

Fear can be a problem in the process of achieving success. However, with the right attitude(态度) and preparations, you can overcome your fear of tests by using these tips.

As a student, I was most afraid to answer questions in class, and I found that the students around were just like me. At the beginning of each class, when the teacher asked a question, I always lowered my head because I was afraid the teacher saw me.

One day, in a foreign language class, Mr. Black gave us a lesson. He wanted us to be active in class, so he asked us some questions, but no one answered. “Let me tell you a story first,” he said.

“When I came to the United States to study, the university often invited famous people to make speeches. Before the beginning of every speech, I found an interesting thing. The students around me always took a cardboard folded(折叠的) in half, wrote their names in bold(黑体) with the most eye-catching(引人注目的) color, and then placed the cardboard on the seat. So when the speaker needed the answers from the students, he could see it and call a listener's name directly.”

“I couldn't understand that. My classmate told me the speakers were all top people, who meant chances. When your answer was to his surprise, it meant he might give you more chances. In fact, I really saw a few students got great chances because of that.”

After listening to the story, I understood that the chance will not find you itself. You must show yourself all the time so that you can find a chance on the card.

  2. (2) What did Mr. Black want the students to do in his class? (No more than 3 words)
