A Spring Morning

This spring morning in bed I'm lying,
Not to awake till the birds are crying.
After one night of wind and showers,
How many are the fallen flowers!
(Translated by Xu Yuanchong)
This poem (write) by Meng Haoran (689-740), who lived during the Tang Dynasty. It might be one of the (famous) Poems about spring in China. People like to read it they wake up on a spring morning.
Meng didn't directly say how much he loved spring. Instead, he wrote about the details(细节) of the season:the birds, wind, rain showers and fallen flowers. His descriptions(描述)of these things showed (we) the joy he felt during springtime.
Meng chose to write about the sounds of spring. These sounds allow readers (picture) spring using their own imagination.
Do you know what is special about November and June in the UK? They are, possibly, the only two (month) with no school holidays. A newspaper recently did a survey among a group of students. In survey, 68 percent of the students said that their parents were at work in the school holidays. 73 percent said that they were bored during the school holidays and 35 percent said they were happy to go back to school! The results of the survey show that not everybody (want) to have many holidays.
If you don't want to stay at home, go out and take part some interesting activities. A lot of schools organize different kinds of trips during the holidays, especially when they have a one-week holiday. You have many (choose) to make.
Many schools take groups of students to some (train) centers. There, students can learn how to do things by (they). For example, students learn how to make a camp in the forest. They also learn a lot (many) about animals and plants. At the same time, they are (teach) how to find their way back to the centers.
In most towns, some other centers offer students different courses, as computer game design, film-making and painting. Students can also go abroad for school trips. They can practice their foreign languages and experience everyday life in different cultures.
Not only adults but also teenagers have problems in their life. Here a survey showing the main problems of teenagers.
They feel stressed they have too many exams (take). And parents usually send them to different classes at weekends. As a result, so many of almost become bookworms(书虫). On holidays, they could hardly have their own time to do what they are interested . Now more and more teenagers are getting short-sighted. They often read in bed or keep (read)for a long time without having a rest. Some of them arc crazy about(play)computer games. Some spend too much time (watch) TV. Another serious problem among teenagers is that many of them are becoming fat. They eat too much junk food, but they take little (exercise). I think teenagers should think of ways on how (deal)with the problem. They should make a plan for study and hobbies and find time to relax as much as possible.
This is (I) friend. (he) name is Jim Green. He's English boy. He's thirteen years old. He's in No 10 Middle School. He is Class Two. Grade Seven. He and I (be) in the same class, but in different rows.
This is my (China) teacher. She is a woman. Her is Gao Ling. She is thirty (year) old. She's a good teacher. She is my good friend, . We love (she) very much.
I was born and raised in Ireland and lived there until I was nineteen years old. I came to this country in 1913 where I held several jobs(earn) a few dollars before enlisting in World War I. After being discharged, I bought my own cab and have owned one ever sincehasn't been too easy at times, my wife takes care of our money and we have a good bit put awaya rainy day.
Most people think taxi drivers are tough. But I think people get theimpression that they are bad. Taxi drivers are just like other people. Most of them will(regard) as honest fellows. I've been in the taxicab business for thirty-five years. In all my years of driving a taxicab, I have never had any trouble with the public, notwith drunks. Even if they get a little headstrong once in a while, I just agree with them and then they behave(they).
I believe honesty is one of the greatest(gift) there is. I believe in God and try to be a good member of my parish. I try to act toward others like I think God wants me to act. I have been trying this for a long time, and the longer I try, the(easy) it gets.
Being street smart is an important skill to have and a good way to take care of yourself.

But put your phone away while you are walking so that you3keep your head up and see what is going on around. If you do need to check your phone, stop and look at it4.
Don't wear earphones while you are out. If you have to listen to something when you're out, use only5earphone or play it at a very low volume(音量).
Travel with friends6family members when possible and never go anywhere with a stranger.7is important to be careful with strangers. Remember not to get8a stranger's car if they call you over.
