My name's Sally and I'm hoping to hear from other science geeks like me! Don't get me wrong—I work hard at school and enjoy all the subjects, but I love science! And math! So if you think science rocks, please write to me. I'll write back straight away, because I'm a brilliant correspondent, too!
Hi, I'm Mike and I'm a huge footie fan! I play every day after school, I'm in the school team and I support Manchester United. But I follow the European leagues, too, and I'd love to get in contact with anyone from Europe who shares my passion for the sport.
I'm Lucia. I'm half-Italian and although I was born in London, that doesn't stop me from loving Italian food and everything else to do with my mother's country. I really hope to live there one day. Meanwhile, I'd love to practice my Italian, and you can practice your English.
Hi there! I'm Steve—a nice, funny, generous(of course, modest!)guy from London. I'm an OK student, but a bit lazy about writing and schoolwork in general. However, when it comes to computers, I'm not lazy at all—I love everything to do with them. And I love socializing. Therefore, I'm fantastic at chatting online!E-mail me now!
I'm Stacey and I want to e-mail YOU and find out what you like! I'm currently keen on computers, films, horse-riding, cooking(and eating), but I also love trying out new things. I'm always busy, but will find the time to write. I'm sure we will have lots of to chat about!

There are many things that are out of control in a world. Working on self-disciple (自律) not only gives you more self-control, but also improves your confidence. Here are some ideas.
. If your goal is to become more self-disciplined, you have to do something every day to achieve that goal. Goals may seem difficult at first, but practicing all the time can help you get there finally.
. Once you have schedule and your action plan in place, the next step is to carry them out. Sticking to your plan needs discipline. The longer you stick to your plan, the more disciplined you'll be.
. Actively deciding and coming up with plans help you reach your goals and become more disciplined. For example, wanting to live a healthier life is a good goal to have. However, you also have to decide how you are going to do?
. Friends or family members whom you admire for their self-discipline can be your role models. Ask them how they set out to achieve their goals.
. Well-balanced meals have some relationship with mental health as well as physical health. If you're not sure what a healthy meal look like, do some research on it.
10-year-old Mike is being interviewed on TV about his own cooking.
Mike, when did you start cooking?
When I was four, I became interested in cooking. I stared helping my mum in the kitchen when I was five. At the age of six, I could make vegetable salad. One year later, I could make a fruit pie all by myself.
What's the best way to get good at cooking?
I don't go to cooking classes. Sometimes I watch videos on the phone. I often read books about coking actually. I think the best way to improve my cooking is trying it again and again. If it is no good, I'll do it differently next time.
What do your parents think of your cooking?
They're glad that they don't have to make dinner every day, and they enjoy my cooking-usually! But, you can't make everyone happy all the time.
Finally, what's it like being on TV?
It's interesting. In fact, I really enjoy myself making the shows. They're watched by millions, but I still find it strange when people I don't know say hello to me in the street.

When we were scared, sad and helpless, you gave us courage, warmth and hopes. When we had to stay at home to keep away from the illness, you, workers, helped us buy living things; Leaving your children behind, you worked in the neighborhood every day, you never complained but smiled the whole day. When we needed all kinds of materials, you, drivers, drove them there without thinking twice; Running on the streets, between the cities, you made sure things went well as usual. | When we had coughs or fevers, you, ▲ , tried your best to save our lives; Looking after the patients in the hospital day and night, you never gave up until the sick got well. Dear Dr. Know-all,
I'm not happy these days. I'm afraid of being with my parents because there are too many rules at my home.
They tell me not to go to my friend's home on school nights. After I get home, the first thing I have to do is to finish my homework. But what I want to do is to have a good rest. I really want to do some outdoor activities, like playing basketball. Basketball is my favorite sport. I can't use the computer on school days. After I finish my homework, I can't relax, either. I must read a book before I can watch TV. My mother always says I can learn a lot from books. I have to go to bed before 10:00. At home the only thing I can do is to study. On weekends I'm also very busy. I have to learn to play the piano.
Rules, rules, rules! I think these rules are too strict. I really don't like them. What can I do, Dr. Know-all?
Frank
