    I was(出生) in a small(城镇). My home was a townhouse. This(种) of house was very common (常见的) there. We could see townhouses everywhere. There was a bookshop next to my home. There were many kinds of books in it. I often(去) there and read books. The books were very(有趣的) I got a lot of fun from them. Many restaurants were on the street. Sometimes my parents(带领) me to eat out. I liked Sichuan fried fish and dumplings in a restaurant called Haokelai. There(是) some other(商店), such as pet stores, shoe stores and so on. I(离开) my home town eight years(以前) And I will go back to make it more beautiful in the future.

I miss you so much. I'm sorry I didn't reply to your e-mail last Saturday because I went swimming with my roommate. She is a lovely girl from England. I was so tired that I fell asleep as soon as I came back. In your last e-mail, you told me your family planned to visit Chaozhou this Saturday. I went there with my parents by train last October. My aunt and my cousin also went there. We met at Chaoshan Railway Station. I must recommend Teochew cuisine(推荐潮州菜)to you. I'm sure you will fall in love with it immediately. Besides visiting places of interest, we also enjoyed Chao Opera during our stay. But none of us could understand it. The traffic in Chaozhou isn't very heavy. You can take a bus or a taxi to go around. I know you like different kinds of bridges. Then you can't miss Guangji Bridge, one of the most famous bridges in Chaozhou.

By the way, I will come back on July 4th to celebrate my father's birthday. What about going to the new park in the city center after, come pack? Please reply to me if you are interested in it and tell me the exact time and place to meet and other information.

Thanks for your letter. It was great to you. You asked me to tell you my favorite day of the week. Well, it's definitely Friday.

One I like Fridays is because I have my favorite subjects at school:  PE and chemistry. Chemistry's great because we do experiments in the science lab and our teacher, Mr. King, is so funny. In PE we play basketball, which is my favorite sport. I'm good at it because I'm quite tall. Our team always .

We also have French on Fridays, which is actually my least favorite subject, but after that we have ICT which is much . At the moment I'm  a webpage for our basketball team. After school I hang out with my friends, then in the evening I play football at the sports center. On Friday nights we sometimes go to someone's house for a party to watch a film. We can relax a bit on Friday evenings because there  no school on Saturday.

Arriving in New York

There are three airports in New York. When you arrive at one of them, you can take a bus or a taxi to any place in New York.

Eating Out

There are many kinds of food in New York and you shouldn't eat at McDonald's every day. There are good restaurants in Little Italy and Chinatown, for example.

Hotels

There are lots of good hotels in New York. The best is The Plaza on 5th Avenue but you don't have to pay a lot to stay in the city; there are lots of smaller hotels and the YMCA near Central Park is great for young people.

Public Transport

In New York, there's a good bus and subway service. If you are planning to use the subway a lot, you should buy a subway ticket for the journey because it's cheaper. But you don't have to use public transport—there are lots of places you can go to on foot, such as the Empire State Building, 5th Avenue and Central Park. The New York taxis are a part of the city experience, so you should take at least one taxi during your visit!

Places to See

Finally, there are a lot of places to see in New York—Times Square, the Statue of Liberty. . . And you shouldn't go home without climbing the Statue of Liberty to enjoy the scenery of the city.

Shopping

Shopping in New York is fun. There are big shops on 5th Avenue. They are open seven days a week. But be careful when you look at the prices; you have to pay a special 8% tax on everything you buy in New York.

I have lots of strict but helpful class rules. First, I can't be late for class. I must be on time for every class. So I have to get up early. Space heroes return home

Welcome home! Zhai Zhigang, Wang Yaping and Ye Guangfu safely came. to Earth from the Tiangong space station. After flying around Earth formonths, the threeof the Shenzhou XIII mission(任务) returned homeApril 16th, 2022.

Theyfinished China's longest manned spaceflight(载 人航天飞行). Nine hours after leaving Tiangong space, the capsule(返回舱) touched down on Earth at the Dongfeng Landing Site in Inner Mongolia.
