About five or six years ago I went to London for the first time. It was in the summer holidays and I went with my 1 .It was quite expensive by plane or train, so we 2 to travel by coach(长途汽车). We left at five in the morning and the 3 took about sixteen hours. We stayed in London for three days, in a youth hotel not far from the city centre. My friends and I 4 a big room on the top floor. While we were in London we went to a lot of places. On the first day, we went to see all the main sights(名胜), 6 Big Ben, Piccadilly Circus, and Buckingham Palace. On the second day, we went shopping on Oxford Street. On the 7 day, my friends and I went to Camden Market. You can buy all kinds of jewelry and clothes there. I bought a silver 8 for my sister. It was really sunny in the afternoon, so we went to watch a football game. Unluckily, I think the ring fell out of 9 pocket during the game, and I had to buy another one.

I really enjoyed visiting London, although the youth hotel was not 10 . Next time, I will stay at a wonderful hotel, but I guess I will never feel as excited as I did that first time.

Many people like to travel by plane, but I don't like it because the airport is usually far from the city. You have to get there early and wait for hours for the plane to take off which is often late. You can't open the windows. You can't choose the food. Planes are fast, but it still takes hours to get out of the airport and into the city.

I like travelling by train. I think trains are safe. Railway stations are usually good in cities. When you're late for a train, you can catch another one. You can walk around in the train and open the windows. You can see many interesting things on your way, though it takes a little more time.

I also like cars. You can start your journey whenever you want to, and you don't need to railway station or a bus stop. Also you can carry many things with you in a car. But sometimes there are too many cars on the road.

Finland（芬兰） isn't on the North Pole and isn't always covered by snow. Finland is actually covered by forests and lakes. There are plenty of reindeer living in the forest and there is a wonderful tradition of making wooden toys, so maybe Father Christmas keeps a factory in Finland. In summer, kids can enjoy long, long days that never end—the nights never really get dark. The following are some interesting things to do in Helsinki, the capital of Finland.

Market Square

Start your visit at the open-air market at Market Square on the South Harbor. In summer, you can watch people selling fish and potatoes from their boats, eat a bag of fresh strawberries, or a sandwich from the Old Market Hall and sit out on the stone dock (码头) to watch the boats coming and going.

Take a boat ride

From the Market Square, there are four or five possible boat rides. You can take a boat to travel around the islands of Helsinki. Or, you can take a water bus to Helsinki Zoo.

Seurasaari

Seurasaari is only minutes from the center of Helsinki. Once you cross the bridge to the island, you'll find yourself in 18th and 19th century Finland.

Many children like to go hiking (徒步旅行) .Why? Because they can be free from school and their homework. They can also enjoy beautiful nature, play with friends or family. If you want to have a happy hike, you must pay attention to the following:

First, find a good day. Fine weather is the most important for a happy hike. If the weather is good, you can do a lot of things, like riding horses, going bike riding, swimming in the river, flying kites and playing ball games.

Second, go with the people you like. If you go hiking with the people you don't like, you won't have a great time. So, find the person who has the same interest as you.

Third, find the right place. Different people have different ideas about the places. For me, I would like to go to the beach for a hike. I like to walk along the beach, listening to the sound of the sea and watch children playing.

Lastly, think of what you need to prepare before going hiking. To have a nice hike, you must have comfortable shoes, enough water and some food. Now you can go hiking!

    We had a school trip yesterday.  The bus was slow but very comfortable(舒适的). When we arrived at the foot of the mountain, it was 9 o'clock. We began to climb the mountain. Along the way, we saw a lot of beautiful flowers and trees. Some students took their cameras with them.

    The guide(导游) was our English teacher—Mr. Wang. His parents lived in the mountains.  After we climbed to the middle of the mountain, it was about 11 o'clock.  But Mr. Wang told us it was not far from his parents' house, so we walked on. In the end, we had delicious food in Mr. Wang's parents' house.

    It was lovely to hear from you again and to know that things are going  with you.

    Thanks for telling me all the Chinese Moon Festival. It sounds like you enjoyed a great party in Inner Mongolaia(内蒙古). It makes me think of the festival we took part in  we traveled in South Africa. The people there kept many goats(山羊), as well as sheep and cows. Beef was expensive and was only for very  time. In all our time there we were  served beef in the villages, because beef is not usually served to .

    By the way, I happened to see these pictures and thought you'd like to see . A Chinese girl gave Tang suits to Joan and me when she left school. We  them on in the university car park. Someone took photos for us though I was wearing my kilt(苏格兰短褶裙)! It seemed to be  different that some suggested that I could start a new look.

    We wore Tang suits to a dinner which was held on the ship in August when we visited Germany. Some Chinese ladies came and spoke to us. They were interested in my traditional Chinese clothing.

Yesterday, I went to Chaotian Palace Plaza. There were different stands where artists could demonstrate their skills and teach the visitors! It was an  experience for me.

What caught my attention first was , that is, making images out of paper. It was difficult, but a lot of fun! With help from the artist, I  to make one in the shape of a fish. Then I went into a section decorated  a traditional Chinese study, with two beautiful Chinese paintings of a pine tree and some bamboo hung . There was also an old man writing Chinese calligraphy: his writing was so free and elegant!

On May 6, the weather was sunny. My mother took me and my sister Helen to visit the Hong Kong Museum of History. The museum is in Kowloon Park(九龙公园). First we went to the swimming pool in the park. Helen and 1 swam for two hours in the pool.

We went to the museum at eleven o'clock. We saw an old store, a village house, an old boat and many other old things. We learned about what Hong Kong was like 100 years ago. In the past, Hong Kong was as mall fishing village. Most people were fishermen(渔民).

Helen and I took some notes(记笔记) about the history of Hong Kong. We also took some photos of the old things. We left the museum at two o'clock in the afternoon.

You asked about places to go and things to do in our town. The Downtown Mall is always1. It's a2place in the oldest part of town. There are some good stores and restaurants there.3,Trendy Clothes Store is in Downtown Mall. It's a fun place to shop. and it has the4quality clothes. The shop assistants are friendly5people. My favorite6in town is Nick's Restaurant. It is close to my house. It's cheap and the hamburgers there are great. I like Dragon City Restaurant.7. You can eat wonderful noodles there and the beef noodles are the most delicious! You must try the dumplings there, too! But it's more expensive than Nick's. The Big Cinema is the best cinema in town. It has the biggest screens and the most8seats. The Del Ray Complex is also a good place to see movies. It doesn't have9movies，but the tickets are the cheapest.

Vanuatu is an island nation in the South Pacific. It is one of the smallest countries in the world. But for those who are interested in adventure and sports, there is a lot to do. Vanuatu's islands offer visitors two of the most exciting and dangerous activities in the world: volcano(火山) surfing and land diving.

Volcano Surfing

On Tanna Island, Mount Yasur rises 300 meters into the sky. Yasur is an active volcano, and it erupts (爆发) almost every day, sometimes several times a day. For centuries, people have climbed this mountain to visit the top. Recently, people have also started climbing Yasur to surf the volcano. In some ways, volcano surfing is like surfing in the sea, but in other ways it's very different. Volcano surfers try to escape the erupting volcano—without getting hit by flying rocks! It's fast ,fun and dangerous—the perfect extreme sport(极限运动).

Land Diving

Most people are familiar with bungee jumping, but you know bungee jumping started on Pentecost Island in Vanuatu and is almost fifteen centuries old? The activity, first called land diving, is part of a religious ceremony(宗教仪式). A man ties tree vines(树藤) to his head—without breaking the vine. Every spring, island natives (men only) still take part in this amazing activity.

Honolulu is the capital and largest city of the U.S. state of Hawaii, which is located in the Pacific Ocean. However, both seasons experience a similar number of rainy days. Light showers occur in summer, while heavier rain falls during winter.

As the largest city and airport in the Hawaiian Islands, Honolulu acts as a natural gateway to the islands' large tourism industry, which brings $10 billion annually and contributes most to the local economy. Honolulu's location in the Pacific also makes it a large business and trading center. Other important aspects of the city's income include military defense, research and development, and manufacturing.

Sunny beaches and a sky-blue sea coast make Honolulu a holiday paradise. Honolulu is not only a place of wonderful sights; it is also a shopping paradise. The world's largest open-air shopping center, Ala Moana Shopping Center is located here, and many international brands and merchandise is represented here. However, it might take tourists lots of time to get there since Honolulu has been ranked as the worst traffic congestion. Currently, there is still no railway system in Honolulu. Apart from that, it is still worth visiting.

Usually I spend the weekend at home. But this time, I'm going to have a very1weekend. Because I'm going to have a trip with my friends in Qingdao.

On Saturday morning,  I'm going to2some places of interest such as May Fourth Square, Qingdao Catholic Church and Qingdao  Guest  House. I'm quite3having a visit in these places,  because I'm4interested in places with a long history. I'm going to Golden Sand Beach on Saturday afternoon. I'm going to have a5on the beach. I'll cook and have lunch there. It'll be great6for me.

On the morning of the second day, I'm going to watch a basketball match. I will7for my favourite basketball player Li Gen. I'm really a big8of him. On Sunday   afternoon, I'm going to do some shopping and buy some presents for my family. I'm going to enjoy9during the trip. And I'm sure it is going to be a(n)10weekend.  I really can't wait to go there.

Many people dream of going on a challenging (有挑战性的) travel. Most of them keep dreaming; others make it come /tru:/. Gregg Bleakney dreamed of going bike riding from (北方）America to South America after finishing a great bike ride. His friend, Brooks Allen，had the same dream.

To (支付) for the trip, the two friends worked for years. When they were on the road, they (露营) outdoors or stayed in cheap hotels. (幸运地), in many places，people there opened their homes to the two friends and gave them food.

On their bike trip, Gregg and Brooks visited many places—large cities, small towns and villages. Along the way, they met other bicyclists from (在……周围) the world. Brooks had to go back to the USA near the bottom of South America and Gregg went on without him. In May 2007, Gregg finished his dream ride in the (结尾). He visited twelve (国家) and finished the 30,500-kilometer trip. The trips (教) both men a lot about traveling and life.

Dream what you want to dream, go where you want to go, and be what you want to be. Go for your dream and (战斗) for it. You can make it like Gregg and Brooks and have fun when you are at it.

Shanghai Disneyland opened on June 16, 2016. It began selling tickets on March 28 through several ways: the official website, Ali-rip website and the central phone. Its price is the lowest of all the Disney theme parks. So far, quite a lot of people have booked tickets.

The park is built in the 963-acre field and costs $5.5 billion. Almost 400 designers and engineers have taken part in the design work. The Disney castle in Shanghai is the tallest and largest one in the Disney family around the world.

When you visit Shanghai Disneyland, you can follow the advice.

* Buy souvenirs in advance. Disney is so popular that it is easy to find these souvenirs anywhere. It isn't necessary for you to buy them at Disneyland because they are too expensive there. You can save a lot of money in this way.

* Eat breakfast before you arrive. You can save quite a bit of money by eating breakfast before you go to the park.

* To save more money, you can plan your trip during the park's off season (淡季). Lots of things, from airfare (飞机票价) to souvenirs, can be cheaper during these months.
