Do you agree with the rule — students can leave school ten minutes earlier as a reward if they behave(行为) well in school? Forty students in Class Four discussed it and showed their ideas.
Sixty percent of the students agree with it. They think it is a good way to ask students to behave well and study harder. Leaving school ten minutes earlier will not affect(影响) the school order. Often, during the last ten minutes before school finishes, students can't focus on their studies. So it's fine to let excellent students leave school early and it gives them time to take part in more after-school activities. Also, other students can learn from them.
The other students don't think so. They think it's hard to see if a student behaves well or not, as most students' behaviors are similar. Most of the time, it depends on teachers. Sometimes, teachers may not be objective, for example, they think some students behave badly and decide to keep them at school longer. It will make students feel sad. So students may feel it is unfair. Moreover, their friends will make fun of them. So, the school should not carry out this rule.
① Other students can learn to behave well. ② Many friends will laugh at me in school.
③ Our teachers may not be fair sometimes. ④ We have time to learn more after school.
