—No, it all happened so ________.
It was about 1:00 in the morning. It was bright light in my neighbor's kitchen. I thought he might be having midnight food so I went back to my bed. Soon, there was a burning smell and I realized there must be something wrong. I jumped out of bed at once and went to have a look. I saw fire coming out of his kitchen. I shouted, "Fire!Fire!"But nobody heard me. I ran quickly to my house and called the Fire Department(消防队) and went back to my neighbor's house.
I knocked at the door and called my neighbor's name, but there was no answer. I tried to break into the house and saved a cat and a chicken. Then I poured water through the kitchen window but it was no use, because the fire was too big. Luckily, the firemen arrived and put out the fire in time.
When my neighbor came back, he was sad because his kitchen was burnt down, but he thanked me for calling the Fire Department and saving his pets.
A week later, my neighbor invited me to his home for dinner. In his new kitchen, he took a photo of me. Later on, he gave me the photo as a gift. It made me happy.
Mary and Peter were having a picnic with some friends near a river when Mary shouted, "Look! That's a spaceship up there and it's going to land here. "
Frightened by the strange spaceship, all the young people got into their cars and drove away as quickly as possible except Peter and Mary. They were more curious(好奇的)than frightened. They watched the spaceship land and saw a door open, but nobody came out, so they went to look into it. In the centre of the floor, there was a lot of food. Peter followed Mary into the spaceship and did not hear the door close behind him. The temperature fell in no time and very soon the two young people didn't know anything.
When they came to, they were surprised to see that they were back by the river again. The spaceship had gone. Their car was nearby.
"What happened?" asked Mary.
Peter scratched(搔)his head, saying slowly, "Don't ask me. Perhaps we had a problem. Come on. It's time to go home."
After driving about fifty metres, they found a thick wall made of something like glass stood in their way. On the other side of the wall, a few strange aliens were looking through the wall and reading a notice, which translated into(译成)English said, "New comers at the zoo, a pair of earth villagers in their house on wheels. "
Maybe you have heard of the“Mozart Effect". It says that listening to classical music, especially Mozart, can help with math and science learning, and develop smart children. But how can we enjoy music.
Listen in the car, while the children draw and color, and at dinner, for fun. Listen and talk about music.
Do you like this song? Why, or why not? If you like this kind of music, how does it make you feel? Happy or sad?
Get to know classical music, but don't forget jazz, blues or many other kinds of music. Many children enjoy different sounds from around the world as well.
Learn about a singer and then listen to his or her music. Libraries often offer CDs as well. Learn an instrument. This costs some money and time, but the result can be worth it. This including singing. Learn how to sing traditional songs.
Find concerts that you attend. Many towns and cities offer family concerts (for parents and their children). Look for one near you house. Go to a music festival.

On a bright autumn night,my friend David and I were watching meteors (流星) in the yard. We saw a large triangular(三角形的) thing flying across the sky. It was traveling from south to north. It seemed to have orange light. It only took 5 to 8 seconds for the thing to travel across the sky and disappear. The most amazing thing was that it was very quiet when it traveled. We live near the airport and often hear the sound of planes. However, this one was really quiet. We were both surprised and we began to describe it to my father. What we said about the strange thing was the same. Then we went into the house and drew what we saw. We believed that someone must be looking at the sky at that time and see what happened.

They all felt lucky.
