    There was a lake near his family's house in New Hampshire. When he was 11 years old, he loved1here.

    On the day before bass(鲈鱼) season began, he2his father went fishing in the evening. When his fishing pole(鱼竿) bent over, he knew3was on the other end. The boy skillfully pulled the fish in. It was4one that he had ever seen, but it was a bass.

    The boy and his father looked at5handsome fish. The father looked at his watch. It was 10p.m. — two hours 6bass season began. He looked at the fish, then at the boy. "You'll have to put7back, son," he said.

    "Dad!" cried the boy.

    "There will be8fish," said his father. "Not as9  as this one," cried the boy.

He looked10the lake. No other fishermen or boats 11anywhere around. He looked again at his father's face. He knew that it was impossible12the decision. Slowly, he lowered the fish back into the water.

That was thirty-four years ago. Today, the boy is a13architect(建筑师) in New York City. He has never again caught14a large fish, but he does see that same fish again and again — every time he faces a question of right and wrong. His father taught him it is the practice of15right that is difficult.

Saturday, June 16th

    In the morning, we went camping along a path in Green Natural Park. We were happy because it was a1day.

    We were expecting an enjoyable two-day holiday. On the way, we kept singing and making jokes.

    However, in the afternoon, when we finished our2at one o'clock, it was dark and windy. Soon, there was a shower. Unluckily, none of us brought3. We ran about but we could find no place to hide.

    Twenty minutes passed and it was still raining. There were 4to go before we reached the campsite(营地). It was even worse that our small compass(指南针) showed that we went to the wrong way. We had5!

    We had to make a quick6as it was raining heavily. Chris said we could set up a tent to hide in, so Mary and   Tom helped to set up the tent. Chris and I tried to make a fire to keep us7. But we were unable to light the fire, as everything was8. We dried ourselves, chatted and waited inside the tent. At about five o'clock, it stopped raining. We decided to9the camping trip because all of us had been very tired.

    This camping trip may not be very10but we know each other better. And the most important thing I've learned from this trip is the importance of team spirit.
