One day, when a successful businessman opened1door of his car, a dog was sleeping under his car suddenly came out and bit(咬)his leg! His wife was troubled about being shouted at for no reason. Their son was watching TV and the wife6her anger on their son. "This is all you do. You are not7 in studying at all! Turn off the TV now!" she shouted.

The son became angry, too. He walked out of his house and saw a dog passing by. He picked up a stone and threw8 at the dog angrily. The dog ran away, barking in pain.

Sometimes, when we are angry about something, we might take out our anger9others. We should learn10 our anger.

Once upon a time, there lived a strange bird. The bird had1heads but only one stomach.

One day, one of the heads saw a fruit on a tree. He picked it and started2the fruit.  The fruit tasted very nice.  He said, "It is one of the most 3 fruit I have ever eaten."

The other head wanted to 4 the fruit, too. But the first head laughed and 5 to share the fruit with the other head. Later that day, the second head found another tree. The tree had poisonous (有毒的)fruits. He picked a poisonous 6and told the first head, "I will eat it."

This was a very busy week. This Friday was Mother's Day, and there were lots of activities at school this week.

Johnson, our new music teacher, taught us Mother, a beautiful song about our love for mothers. And Miss Alice told us the story of Mother's Day. The idea of a day for mothers was first given by Miss Anna of Philadephia (费城). As a result of her hard work, the celebration of the first American Mother's Day was held in Philadephia on May 10, 1998. Soon the holiday became popular all over the country and around the world.

We practiced activities for Mother's Day today. We prepared some songs and games to show our love to our mothers. This was going to be a special present for our parents on Friday.

It took us two hours to decorate(装饰) our classroom for PAT DAY. I was tired. Mom was also nervous. It would be the first time for her to meet our teachers. She has always been nervous about talking to teachers since she was a child. That's funny!

There were many activities at school. One of them was PAT DAY. Mom and Dad both came to the school. I was a little nervous. What had our teachers told them?

It is possible that in 50 years the only tigers in the world will be in zoos. One hundred years ago, there were maybe 100,000 tigers in the world. Today scientists are not sure how many are left, as it is difficult to count them. There are maybe only between 5,000 and 7,000 tigers in the world.

People only find tigers in Asia and Africa. They have already disappeared from many countries. There are no longer any Caspian tigers. They died out many years ago. The living condition of tigers in other parts of Asia is also serious. There are perhaps only 100 Chinese tigers left. In southwestern Russia, the number of tigers is a little higher. There are about 450 tigers left. On some islands in Sumatra(苏门答腊)with many thick forests, there are about 500 tigers.

Why are there fewer and fewer tigers? The first reason is that tigers are meat-eaters. They need a lot of land to find enough food. Also they live in forests and people cut down many trees. Many years ago, tiger shooting was a sport, especially in India. Local people sometimes kill tigers because they kill their cows.  Another reason is that Chinese people use all parts of the dead tigers for traditional Chinese medicine, including the bones(骨头)and so on. People think this medicine will make them live longer.

Have you ever been to Disneyland? For most of the kids around the world, this amusement park is a fantastic place for them to have .

When we were young, we all heard Mickey Mouse, Sleeping Beauty, Snow White and many Disney characters. Some of us have them in cartoons. Actually, whatever characters you like, if you go to a theme park, you can see of them. There are not only some amusement attractions there, but also many specials with Disney characters. You can go to see them all over the . Do you know how many Disneyland parks there are now? The answer is. Two are in the United States and two are in China. other two are in Tokyo and France. The first and oldest Disneyland was built in 1955. Shanghai Disney Resort is theDisney theme park. It has been open June 16th, 2016. You can try Steamboat Willie there. In the Disneyland, you can have a lot of fun seeing Disney movies, in the Disney restaurants, and buying Disney souvenirs. Disneyland is a place you have to go to at least once.

Mr. Black had an interesting birthday last Wednesday. In the early morning, he was woken up by his daughter. To give a surprise to her dear father, she got up very early to make a rich breakfast for him. Of course, Mr. Black was very happy and he ate up all the food. When he got to work, his students were drawing a picture of birthday cake on the blackboard. He was so moved. At noon, he had lunch with other teachers in the school dining hall, and they all said "Happy birthday" to him. When he came back home, his wife was preparing a birthday party for him. All his friends came and brought all kinds of birthday gifts for him. His wife and daughter made a big cake by themselves. It was another big surprise for him. His friends lit up the candles on the cake and sang the birthday song. After that, Mr. Black blew out the candles and made a wish.

It was quite a special birthday for Mr. Black. Mr. Black felt he was a lucky person because there were so many people who cared about him. He will remember the birthday forever.
