John was busy last weekend. He studied English on Saturday morning. Then he visited his grandfather in the afternoon. It was his grandfather's birthday. They cooked noodles together. "Oh, no," the farmer says. "I don't pull cars out of the hole at night. At night I fill the hole with water. "

My name is David. There are four people in my family. They are my father, my mother, my sister and me. My father is a teacher. He works in a school. He goes to school by car. My mother is a doctor. She works in a hospital. She likes dancing. My sister is taller than me. Last weekend, we went to the park. We flew kites and played games. In the afternoon, we visited our grandmother. Mum bought Daming a book last Sunday. It is about space travel. Daming loved it very much. He is very interested in space travel. Yesterday Dad watched TV, but Daming didn't. He finished his homework in two hours. Then he read the book. He saw many pictures of spaceships from China, Russia and the US in the book. It also says that in 2003 a Chinese spaceship took Yang Liwei into space. And Russia sent the first animal into space.

Today I went to school at 7 o'clock. I ate five hamburgers there. I like hamburgers very much. Xiaoyong had some rice because he doesn't like hamburgers. We gave our hamburgers to Tom. But I miss Chinese food .Tonight Dad is going to cook Chinese food for me. I was very happy.

Jack got a present from his uncle. It's a book about space travel. He read the book yesterday. It says an American spaceship took a man into space in 1969. The man's name is Armstrong. He was the first person who walked on the moon. Russia sent the first animal into space in 1957. That was a dog. Its name is Laika. China sent a man into space in 2003. His name is Yang Liwei. The book is very interesting and Jack loves it very much.

Daming is a Chinese boy. But now he is living in the US. He can speak English, but sometimes he makes mistakes. Last week Daming went to a farm with his friends. He told his friends he wanted to see a ship. Everyone looked surprised and Daming didn't know why. Sam said, "Daming, we are going to a farm, not to a sea. There are no ships on the farm. " Then Daming knew his mistake. Daming wanted to say "sheep" not "ship". It was very funny. His friends all laughed.
